On March 24, 2026, LANECO stepped up at Barangay Curvada, Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte for the big event. Moreover, this marks the municipality’s very first solar power development. Next, the council pushed forward with housing projects that matter to many families. Ordinance 2026-219 lets the mayor handle land subdivision for a resettlement program in Barangay Carmen. Similarly, they approved the subdivision development plan for Xavier Southwoods in Barangay Bayanga and authorized usufruct agreements plus master deeds under the 4PH housing program in Barangay Pagatpat. 

Finally, Ordinance 2026-224 amends the motorela fare ordinance to increase fare rates, helping drivers cope with rising costs while keeping rides accessible.
