The Regional Research, Development, and Innovation Committee X (RRDIC-X) just nailed it by winning full support and endorsement from the Regional Development Council X (RDC-X) for major research, development, and innovation (RDI) initiatives.

RRDIC-X pushed forward the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) application for KIST Park accreditation with the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA). At the same time, the committee endorsed Hon. Henry S. Oaminal, Provincial Governor of Misamis Occidental, as RDC-X’s rep to the Mindanao Sub-national Committee of the Presidential Filipinnovation Awards. This cool annual contest spotlights startups ready for early-stage commercialization and success.

Furthermore, Prof. Alizedney M. Ditucalan, Chancellor of Mindanao State University–Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) and RRDIC-X Co-Chairperson, led the charge with energy and vision.
