Celebrating the Bright Futures of Our 5 Kagay-anon Scholars!

COURTESY: Rufus B. Rodriguez  - Representative of 2nd District Cagayan de Oro City. Lawyer. Father. Kagay-anon. Author of Law Books. Lover of Music and History

Hey there, amazing readers! We've got some fantastic news to share, and it's all about dreams coming true and futures getting brighter. We're talking about the incredible achievements of five Kagay-anon scholars who have made it through the rigorous selection process of the Toyota Motor Philippines Foundation (TMPF) and the generous support of Cong. Rufus Rodriguez. So, buckle up as we dive into the inspiring journey of these young stars!

First up, let's get to know the shining stars of this story. After passing the admissions examination, interview stage, and thorough deliberation from TMPF officials, we proudly present to you:

1. **Dimaano, George Abraham**
2. **Villastique, Romer**
3. **Narquita, Paulien**
4. **Lansican, Jayrich Ace**
5. **Reynes, Kelly**

These scholars have showcased not just their intelligence but also their determination and hard work. They all come from indigent families, a key eligibility requirement for TMPF scholarships. Toyota and the Congressional Office staff confirmed this through a series of home visits, ensuring that these deserving individuals receive the support they need.

So, what's next for our brilliant scholars? Well, they're about to embark on an 18-month journey in the **Toyota General Job Automotive Servicing Course** at the Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) - School of Technology in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. This isn't just any course—it's an opportunity to gain top-notch skills and knowledge in the automotive industry.

And that's not all! Each scholar will benefit from:

1. Free tuition and miscellaneous fees
2. Free TESDA national assessment fees for NC I & NC II (limited to the first take only)
3. Free graduation fee
4. Free dormitory accommodation and basic meals
5. Free 2 sets of uniform (Pants & Shirt), 1 safety shoes, and 1 cap
6. Free airfare for various trips: opening of classes, Christmas break, OJT in Toyota dealerships (if within Visayas & Mindanao), and participation in the graduation ceremony

Let's take a moment to appreciate the incredible generosity that makes this all possible. The Toyota Motor Philippines Foundation (TMPF) is investing more than P300,000 per scholar. This significant amount will cover all the educational and living expenses, ensuring the scholars can focus entirely on their studies.

Meanwhile, Cong. Rufus Rodriguez is stepping in to cover the complete medical exam expenses for all the scholars. This kind of support is crucial, as it lifts a significant financial burden off the scholars and their families, allowing them to pursue their dreams without worry.

As we wrap up this celebratory post, let's extend our heartfelt congratulations to George, Romer, Paulien, Jayrich Ace, and Kelly. You’ve proven that hard work and determination can indeed make dreams come true. We wish you all the best in your journey ahead and can't wait to see the incredible things you'll achieve.

So, here's to new beginnings, endless possibilities, and the bright futures of our Kagay-anon scholars. Keep shining, keep dreaming, and keep inspiring us all!

Stay tuned for more updates on their journey and other inspiring stories. Until next time, keep chasing those dreams!
