The Epic Showdown in Valencia City

Valencia City, Bukidnon — Bukidnon affirmed its status as the country’s leading specialty coffee hub by hosting the Southeast Asia (SEA) Green Coffee Competition: Philippine National Round 2026. Farmers, roasters, and dreamers flocked to MM Ranch, turning the Bukidnon Coffee Festival into a vibrant celebration of passion and possibility.  

Transitioning smoothly from farm to cup, the three-day event buzzed with energy as participants swapped stories and strategies. Everyone left inspired!

Champions Rise and Opportunities Bloom

Organizers crowned top producers with awesome prizes like moisture meters and power stations, while every finalist grabbed premium fertilizer to fuel future harvests. Governor Rogelio Neil P. Roque welcomed the crowd warmly, honoring the hard work that powers Philippine coffee.

Teams from the DPWH spring into action across Northern Mindanao under Oplan Kontra Baha. They prepare fiercely for the coming rainy season, following President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos, Jr.'s direct orders. Moreover, these dedicated crews collaborate seamlessly to clear vital waterways and boost flood resilience.

**𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐍𝐀𝐍: Wala pa ring tigil ang serye ng mga operasyon sa ilalim ng Oplan Kontra Baha (OKB) ng DPWH sa Northern Mindanao upang paghandaan ang nalalapit na tag-ulan, alinsunod na rin sa utos ni Pangulong Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos, Jr.**  

Kaugnay nito, nagtulungan ang DPWH Bukidnon 2nd at 4th DEOs sa pagsasaayos at dredging sa Old Impounding Basin sa Taganibong Creek sa Maramag, Bukidnon. Meanwhile, relentless crews in Iligan keep the river flowing freely.

In Cagayan de Oro, experts lead bold siphoning and silt removal at Sapang Bridge. Furthermore, another team tackles cleaning along Bitan-ag Creek, ensuring smooth water flow through busy barangays. These proactive moves protect communities and turn potential disasters into manageable flows.
