CONGRATULATIONS! A graduate of Xavier University secured the Top 1 spot in the March 2026 Electronics Engineers Licensure Examination, according to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). Carl Vincent Plarisan Malinao ranked 1st nationwide with a rating of 93.80%, leading the list of the Top 10 examinees in the said board examination. 
He also secured the 3rd spot in the March 2026 Electronics Technicians Licensure Examination, marking another remarkable achievement. Moreover, this double victory shows his incredible skill and dedication, inspiring everyone around him.

Sunrise Over Manresa: Paving Paths Toward a Smoother Kagay-an

The ceremony signaled the tangible start of a project many have long awaited.
Consequently, attendees felt a renewed sense of possibility because the 2-kilometer access road will link downtown and uptown. The event underscored collaboration between public and private sectors, and the atmosphere brimmed with shared responsibility. In short, stakeholders emphasized that this work aims to reduce congestion and enhance mobility for residents.

The Road, the Timeline, and Community Impact

The project involves a 2-kilometer public-private access road connecting the downtown and uptown areas. Therefore, planners expect more efficient traffic flow, particularly toward the uptown area where peak-hour backups frequently occur. Engineers outlined phased work, confirming that the access road is projected to be completed by the end of 2027, and crews will maintain steady progress.

Ultimately, the initiative aims to help ease traffic congestion, particularly toward the uptown area, and to improve daily commutes for everyone. Residents expressed hope because the new route is expected to benefit all Kagay-anons.
