From Camiguin National High School (CNHS) to other institutions across the island, learners have joined the International Equilibrium Science Olympiad, Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad, and more.
Meanwhile, this small province keeps producing big results, proving talent isn't bound by geography.
Getting there isn't easy. Coaches and school leaders say participating students undergo qualifying rounds, review sessions, and both online and face-to-face training before advancing further.
Principal Doris Yu notes CNHS's junior science curriculum gives students an early edge, while coach Michelle Matamontos adds that exposure to tougher questions builds real confidence.
