CAMP ALAGAR, Cagayan de Oro City โ Police Regional Office 10 (PRO10), under the leadership of Regional Director PBGEN JAYSEN C. DE GUZMAN, continues to intensify its enforcement operations in line with the ongoing Commission on Elections (COMELEC) gun ban, which remains in effect until June 11, 2025.
Despite the conclusion of the electoral period, PRO10 remains relentless in its efforts to curb the proliferation of loose firearms and maintain public safety across Northern Mindanao. Based on the latest data from the Election Monitoring System (EMS), a total of 103 individuals have been apprehended and 97 firearms have been confiscated in connection with gun ban violations and other law enforcement operations.

PBGEN DE GUZMAN emphasized that operations will continue with the same level of vigilance in the coming weeks.
โThe election process may have ended, but the COMELEC gun ban is still in effect until June 11, 2025. We will not slow down our efforts in ensuring that illegal possession and use of firearms are addressed decisively,โ he said.
