Great news from the heart of Bukidnon! On October 26, 2026, Brgy. Cacaon in Talakag welcomed a major milestone in digital connectivity. **#yourDICTRegionX** joined hands with Smart Communications for a dual initiative: the **Cell Site Inauguration Ceremony** and the **Bayanihan SIM Registration**.
First, let's talk about the **new Smart cell site**. It brings enhanced signal and reliable mobile coverage to Cacaon residents. Therefore, families can finally call loved ones without walking uphill for a single bar.
Meanwhile, the **Bayanihan SIM Registration** helped community members register their SIM cards. As a result, everyone enjoys seamless, secure access to digital services without traveling far.
Notably, **DICT Region X Assistant Regional Director Engr. Michael Andrew E. Buot** and **PLDT Enterprise Vice President Ruby Montoya** attended. Other PLDT and Smart representatives joined them, reflecting a shared commitment to digital inclusion.
Beyond expanding network reach, this initiative empowers locals with access to online opportunities, education, and public services. Students can now study online, and farmers can reach wider markets.
One community connected, countless opportunities ahead!
