Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ Uy’s team steps up big time as the **KLAREX ADMIN COMMITS P60-M FOR ORO FISH COMPLEX PROJECT**. City Hall pledges ₱60-million as equity counterpart to fuel this exciting Fisheries Complex Development Project. 
During a lively courtesy visit on Tuesday, June 23, World Bank and BFAR-10’s FishCore team dropped by, and Mayor Klarex delivered the great news with energy. Officials from the City Agricultural Productivity Office (APOO) and the Technical Working Group (TWG) joined the buzz, all focused on the massive P381 million project rising in Barangay Bonbon.

The APOO now leads a thorough review to ensure everything aligns with environmental and social standards. They aim to transform the area into a truly sustainable and eco-friendly fisheries hub that locals will love for years.

Transitioning smoothly to the future, Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ Uy shows strong commitment. His administration actively builds modern fisheries infrastructure packed with a fish landing center, processing plant, cold storage, ice plant, docking quay, pier, fuel depot, and administration building. These fierce farming sisters jumped with joy as the Agricultural Productivity Operations Office (APOO) delivered a sparkling IBC Tank complete with accessories and tough HDPE pipes right to BUPAPIBBA during the lively Klarex nga Serbisyo sa Baryo on June 21, 2026.  
They now splash new life into their crops with smarter water storage. Moreover, this game-changing gift transforms their daily grind into thriving harvests.

Led by the unstoppable Ms. Chariza Minister, BUPAPIBBA actively boosts their farming initiatives. Additionally, APOO keeps championing women’s roles in agriculture through these thoughtful resources.  

Through the bold leadership of City Mayor Rolando “Klarex” A. Uy and OIC City Agriculturist Engr. Bernie A. Daba Jr., the team empowers these wonder women as true partners in local food security. They turn everyday fields into vibrant stories of success!

Corn Heroes Rising: Upland Farmers Score Big with Hybrid Seeds & Bio-Boost!

Farmers in the city uplands are buzzing with excitement these days. Many upland farmer groups eagerly received Hybrid Yellow Corn Seeds (NK6505 VIP) and Bio-Fertilizer (BIO N) from the Department of Agriculture RFO-10 through the Agricultural Productivity Operations Office (APOO). 

The team kicked things off on June 5 and 8. Moreover, the Agronomy and Field Operations Division led lively distributions to farmer associations from barangays like Baikingon, Canitoan, Iponan, Lumbia, Pagatpat, Pagalungan, San Simon, and Taglimao. 

Next Wave of Green Gold Coming Soon!

Additionally, APOO rolled out more supplies to Besigan, Dansolihon, and Tigapoloan farmers on Tuesday, June 9. 

Farmers stay pumped because another big phase hits on June 16. Beneficiaries from Agusan, Balubal, Bugo, Cugman, F.S. Catanico, Gusa, Indahag, Puerto, and Tablon associations will grab their shares too. What a fantastic push for stronger harvests ahead!
