A Promising Inspection

Last Friday, BUKIDNON AIRPORT INSPECTION highlighted exciting progress as Senator Migz Zubiri visited the Bukidnon Airport for a site inspection and status update. Meanwhile, the Department of Transportation and Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines shared updates on the remaining construction work.
Progress remains impressive. The arrival area at the passenger terminal building is already complete.
Eyes on 2027

Furthermore, leaders urged the DOTR to finish the entire airport, especially the 2.3 kilometer runway for Airbus 321 flights.
They will continue monitoring progress so the airport opens for public use in the first half of 2027.

Great news for sports fans! The Mindanao Civic Center (MCC) in Tubod, Lanao del Norte has earned Third Field Certification from FIFA, allowing it to host international football matches. Moreover, the certification, signed by FIFA President Gianni Infantino, highlights the province's commitment to world-class sports infrastructure.

Furthermore, the 71-hectare complex features a stadium, gymnasium, swimming pool, trade center, hotel, and motocross track. These facilities strengthen Lanao del Norte’s dream of becoming a leading sports tourism and training hub.

Building a Brighter Future Through Sports

Meanwhile, officials expect more opportunities as the Philippine Sports Commission considers the MCC as a regional training hub. In addition, upcoming Philippine Football League and Philippine Volleyball League events will attract athletes, visitors, and businesses.
