Mayor Amie Galario warmly welcomes Capt. Yunkwon Ko, Chairman of the Mindanao Korean Traders Association, Inc., with his delegation during their visit to Valencia City on June 15, 2026, as part of the continuing strengthening of the relationship between the city and its South Korean partners and institutions.Everyone buzzed with excitement as connections deepened right away. 

Exploring Opportunities Together

During this visit, Capt also got to interview. I am with Vice Mayor Greizl Galario-Fernandez and City Spokesperson Jun Galario to discuss potential investment opportunities, cultural exchange, and other programs for the development of Valencia City. 

They also conducted site visits to different areas of the city to better see and understand Valencia's current situation, opportunities, and potential for future partnerships and projects. What a thrilling step forward!

The Epic Showdown in Valencia City

Valencia City, Bukidnon — Bukidnon affirmed its status as the country’s leading specialty coffee hub by hosting the Southeast Asia (SEA) Green Coffee Competition: Philippine National Round 2026. Farmers, roasters, and dreamers flocked to MM Ranch, turning the Bukidnon Coffee Festival into a vibrant celebration of passion and possibility.  

Transitioning smoothly from farm to cup, the three-day event buzzed with energy as participants swapped stories and strategies. Everyone left inspired!

Champions Rise and Opportunities Bloom

Organizers crowned top producers with awesome prizes like moisture meters and power stations, while every finalist grabbed premium fertilizer to fuel future harvests. Governor Rogelio Neil P. Roque welcomed the crowd warmly, honoring the hard work that powers Philippine coffee.  

Mikhaela Dueñas highlighted how this success builds stronger markets and brighter futures for farmers. Bukidnon now solidifies its spot as the ultimate specialty coffee hotspot!
