Farmers Level Up with Seeds and Super Fertilizers

Government teams delivered PhP141.75 million worth of farm inputs to corn farmers in Misamis Oriental on May 19. DA-NorMin turned over the goods right at the Provincial Capitol Grounds during the flag-raising ceremony. Farmers now grab quality yellow and white corn seeds plus biofertilizers to crank up their harvests.

Moreover, this support targets both food and feed production. Officials like Governor Juliette T. Uy cheered the handover and pushed everyone to plant everything immediately. She reminded local leaders across towns to maximize these tools for real growth and change in the province.

Partnerships Fuel Food Security Wins

Governor Uy praised the teamwork between DA-NorMin, provincial offices, and other agencies. She called it a strong example of government working hand in hand for Misamis Oriental’s progress.

Additionally, PAGRO’s Michelle Ross M. Lace highlighted how these initiatives build unity and shared commitment. Municipal agriculturists in places like Balingoan noted the inputs will spike corn output in upper barangays and help farmers earn more while securing food supplies. This move advances DA’s vision for a Masaganang Bagong Pilipinas through better access to premium farm inputs.
