COURTESY: DA 10

A New Dawn for Lantapan’s Fields

In the heart of **LANTAPAN, BUKIDNON**, where golden cornfields sway under the sun, a powerful new tool has arrived to change the rhythm of farming life. The **Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office 10 (DA-10)** recently turned over a brand-new **4WD farm tractor** to the Bantuanon Agrarian Reform Beneficiary Association Multi-Purpose Cooperative (ARBA MPC).
This Php 2.9-million asset, funded under the **Agricultural Machinery, Equipment, Facilities, and Infrastructure Support Services (AMEFSS)** program, is more than just metal and gears—it’s a symbol of progress. With the cooperative cultivating 300 hectares of corn and 30 hectares of cassava, the tractor is expected to boost efficiency, expand operations, and improve livelihood opportunities. Farmers can now plow through challenges with speed and confidence, freeing up time and resources for other essential tasks.

Planting the Seeds of Expansion

Change often comes through steady, determined effort, and ARBA MPC is ready to step into a bigger future. With the help of this new machine, the cooperative is eyeing an **additional 110 hectares** for expansion—an ambitious move that promises more income and stability for its **275 members**. Manager **Teresita B. Olemberio** expressed her heartfelt gratitude, emphasizing how this support reduces expenses and empowers farmers to achieve more.

Her call to action is clear: farmers should not hesitate to approach government agencies like the DA, which stands as a strong ally in boosting agricultural productivity. This initiative also supports President **Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s** vision of an inclusive, sustainable agricultural industry—ensuring that even rural farming communities can benefit from modern technologies and programs.

As the wheels of this tractor turn, so does the wheel of progress in Lantapan. With unyielding dedication and the right tools, the corn industry in Bukidnon is set to grow deeper roots and reach greater heights.

Seeds of Change

KAHINUMDUMAN, niadtong Oktubre 16, 2025 ang Misamis Oriental Provincial Agriculture Development, nagpahigayon ug MOA Signing and Turnover of Farm Tractors and Agricultural Inputs.
Practical Skills and Community Impact

Furthermore, trainees practiced safe operation, routine maintenance, and basic troubleshooting, so machines will run longer and costs will drop. As a result, cooperatives that received equipment now schedule shared-use plans, thereby increasing land productivity and reducing idle time.
Moreover, participants expressed hope and gratitude.
Toward a Modern, Resilient Agriculture

Consequently, the province demonstrates leadership and long-term vision by pairing equipment turnover with hands-on training. By investing in people as well as machines, Misamis Oriental ensures that technology translates into sustainable yields, not just short-term gains.

Finally, the Agri Machinery Operations and Management Training para sa mga mag-uuma sa Misamis Oriental confirms that collaboration, capacity building, and modern tools together drive rural development. Therefore, the province moves forward with stronger farms, smarter operators, and a brighter future for farming families.
