Better Testing, Better Farming
The Mobile Soil Laboratory was officially launched in the province on Monday, August 3, 2026, by the Provincial Government and Department of Agriculture-Bureau of Soils and Water Management. Through the Mobile Soil Laboratory, farmers can access high-quality soil analysis, helping them manage farms properly.
Equipped with advanced analytical instruments, laboratory facilities, office spaces, safety features, and essential resources worth 43 million pesos, the team brings testing closer to communities. Consequently, farmers and LGUs can make smarter decisions.
Taking Services Across Communities
From August 3 to October 2, the laboratory will serve LGUs across Misamis Oriental. Moreover, Northern Mindanao is the first region in the country to operate this innovative facility.
Officials, including Governor Uy and DA Regional Executive Director Jose Apollo Pacamalan, attended the launch. Ultimately, the program supports a more productive, stronger, and sustainable agriculture sector.
