The groundwork for this project was laid in 2022 when then-Congressman Henry S. Oaminal allocated an initial budget of ₱10,000,000. However, as planning progressed, the Philippine National Police (PNP) highlighted the necessity of expanding the building's size and area, ultimately leading to requests for additional funds. Thus, the groundwork was transformed into a priority project that would significantly elevate police operations in the region.

In 2024, the project received a much-deserved boost with an additional allocation of ₱15,000,000. This infusion of funds came as a direct response to the increasing demands for better facilities, including essential amenities such as air conditioning units, secure gates, and recreational areas for the staff.
