CUMC proudly marks another historic achievement as the first hospital in Northern Mindanao to perform a laparoscopic prostatectomy—a significant advancement in minimally invasive urologic surgery.
Patients now experience less pain, faster recovery, and smaller scars thanks to this breakthrough.
This milestone was made possible through the expertise of our outstanding Reconstructive and Minimally Invasive Urologists, Dr. Lox Andutan and Dr. Marc Vincent Trinidad, together with our dedicated Cardiac Intensive Care Anesthesiologist, Dr. Mark Yu, Resident, Dr. Earl Vincent Areola, Scrub Nurse Rolp Paguntalan, Circulating Nurses Elisha Cardeño and Denise Restor, and the entire multidisciplinary surgical team.
