We are buzzing with excitement here at Maria Reyna Xavier University Hospital! Families in our community now have access to world-class critical care right when they need it most. This new Intensive Care Unit transforms how we support patients during their toughest battles. 
Transitioning from older facilities to this state-of-the-art space feels like a breath of fresh air. We see advanced equipment, thoughtful layouts, and a warm environment that puts both patients and loved ones at ease. Everyone on the team pours their hearts into making recovery journeys smoother and safer.

We are proud to officially introduce our new ๐—œ๐—ป๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜€๐—ถ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ ๐—–๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐—จ๐—ป๐—ถ๐˜ (๐—œ๐—–๐—จ), a significant step forward in our commitment to providing exceptional intensive patient care to our community. Designed with advanced facilities and equipped to deliver specialized critical care, our new ICU reflects our dedication to patient safety, comfort, and clinical excellence.
Guided by our values of delivering of Christ-centered service, our new ICU was blessed on June 8, 2026, Officiated by Fr. Mars P. Tan, SJ, with Fr. Juan Gil Escalante, SSJV, Fr. Tex Rico Buntol, MI, Fr. Gregorius Ada, MI, and Rev. Arnoldus Mada, MI, concelebrating the blessing ceremony. The occasion was graced by our Hospital Administrator, Sr. Corazon V. Bunagan, SPC, together with our Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres, Head of Clinics Dr. Fernando Douglas Go, Department of Internal Medicine Chairman Dr. Carmelita Llavore, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Chairman Dr. Rico Borromeo, Department of Surgery Chairman Dr. Jaime Lagunilla, Critical Care Medicine Intensivist Dr. Albee Marie Capistrano, as well as our consultants, resident doctors, nurses, hospital personnel, and Most Rev. Jose A. Cabantan, D.D. visiting after the blessing ceremony.

Moreover, the blessing ceremony brought together inspiring leaders and dedicated staff who make our hospital shine every day. You could feel the joy and gratitude in the air as prayers filled the new unit.
