𝐌/𝐕 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐄 𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐓𝐔𝐃𝐄  will have its' maiden voyage on 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟱,𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

It will be serving 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗼-𝗖𝗲𝗯𝘂-𝗗𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮 routes under a 𝗣𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗘𝗘𝗥 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗦 granted by Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA).

In tandem with MV Starlite Saturn, both vessels will be operating a combined 11 round trips weekly in the Surigao-Cebu-Surigao route and 2 round trips weekly in the Dapitan-Cebu-Dapitan route.

MV Starlite Gratitude has a passenger capacity of 618, 12 cargo trucks and 10 private cars.

It has four accommodation types,  recliner seats, tourist bunks, cabin and private rooms to cater different passenger preferences. 

It has a service speed of 12 knots making the travel time between each route of Cebu-Surigao and Cebu-Dapitan under 10 hours. 

This deployment of a brand new 𝗝𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗹 with an International Classification under Class NK is a testament of gratitude of Starlite Ferries management to the support and patronage of the riding public, travel agents and shippers.

The Epic Turnover That’s Sparking Joy

Deputy Speaker Bambi Emano just handed over a game-changing **2 multi-purpose building worth P73 million ISIP public market in Alubijid** to Mayor Emmanuel Jamis on July 1, 2026.  

The local government now proudly runs this shiny facility. Everyone cheered as the keys changed hands during the lively ceremony.

This powerhouse includes stalls, wet and dry goods sections, profitable spaces, and a cool food gallery section. Funds came through the General Appropriations Act (GAA) thanks to Cong. Bambi’s support.  

In his speech, Deputy Speaker Bambi thanked Alubijid residents for backing Mayor Jamis. He highlighted how the market brings comfortable livelihood opportunities to every family.

Fresh Rides Spark Joy in the Neighborhood

Another Mini-Bus in the Barangay is ready to serve a FREE RIDE of this administration of Kapitan Alexander Torralba for the youth and employee residents of the Barangay. Families cheer as this new van joins the fleet. Students dash to school without worry, and night-shift workers catch easy lifts home to Lumbia. 

Moreover, the Torralba administration keeps the good vibes flowing. They actively support busy parents and hardworking folks every single day.

Big Cheers for Community Wins

In the meantime, free rides have continued in previous years and this one has only recently opened when the school started. Apparently a mini bus has gone into service and now a new van will be added. The team focuses on real help for everyone.
